NEW BUSINESS
A. The administration is recommending that Brubaker Electric complete a lighting energy survey
of the district board room then forward the results to the Board with recommendations for
energy and cost reductions. This will be at no cost to the district.
B. The West Perry World Language Club is requesting approval of a trip to Montreal and Quebec City
during the summer of 2005
C. The West Perry High School administration is recommending that the following seniors be
approved as graduates, effective January 21, 2005. They have met all requirements for
graduation, including all required credits, projects and assessments. If they choose, they
will be given the opportunity to participate in the junior-senior prom, the senior class trip,
the senior awards banquet, and commencement and graduation ceremonies.

D. The administration is recommending approval of a change in the position description for the
Census/Taxes Clerk position
E. The administration is recommending the elimination of the Multidisabilities Classroom and .5
teaching position at Carroll Elementary School. The current Life Skills classroom will be called
Multidisabilities/Life Skills Program.
F. The administration recommends that Julie Morrison be transferred from the Multidisabilities
Classroom to the Multidisabilities/Life Skills Program at Carroll Elementary
G. The administration is recommending that a .5 additional temporary aide be added to the
Multidisabilities/Life Skills Program at Carroll Elementary until the end of the 2004-2005
school year
The recommendations made in E, F and G above will result in an approximate cost savings to
the district of $19,852.30
H. Personnel
1. Andy Kinzer, West Perry High School, Social Studies Teacher, resignation effective
February 10, 2005
2. Maria R. Simonton, West Perry High School, Spanish Teacher, Sabbatical Leave for the
second semester of the 2004-2005 school year. Mrs. Simonton meets all requirements
for this Sabbatical Leave as per the West Perry Education Association, Article 5.10,
Sabbatical Leaves
3. Paulette LeFevre, West Perry High School, Business Education Teacher, medical leave
beginning December 14, 2004 through December 23, 2004. She plans to return on
January 3, 2004.
